Rebel Wilson continues to show off her 66-pound weight loss on the set of Senior Year in Atlanta
She recently dropped just over 66 pounds through exercise and diet modifications.
And Rebel Wilson, 41, continued to show off her slim frame in jean shorts on the set of her upcoming film Senior Year – her first film role since her dramatic transformation.
The comedy – which is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia – stars Wilson as a cheerleader who wakes up from a 20-year coma, and returns to high school in the hopes of regaining her popular status and the prom queen title.

The actress who starred as ‘Fat Amy’ in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect looked anything but after shedding serious pounds during her ‘year of health.’
Slipping into the role of a former high school student her wardrobe appeared youthful, as she donned rolled jean shorts and a pink sweatshirt adorned with swirls.
She looked camera ready as she sported a fresh blowout and a light face of makeup while showing off her trim physique.
The charismatic Australian was seen engaging in a few comedic antics in between takes to keep her momentum up on set, and later took to Instagram to share a photo of herself through film monitors where she donned a prom queen crown.
Deadline announced in early June that Alicia Silverstone would also be joining the cast, which already includes This Is Us’ Justin Hartley, Angourie Rice (Mare of Easttown ) and Chris Parnell (SNL).

Wilson took a break from the big screen in 2020 after a very busy 2019 which included roles in The Hustle, Isn’t It Romantic, JoJo Rabbit and Cats.
And she utilized the time to really focus on her health which allowed her to shed nearly 70 pounds, telling Shape that turning 40 and the desire to start a family made her take things seriously.
‘Until this past year I never properly considered wellness from all angles. But I was turning 40 and thinking about freezing my eggs and the experts told me that the healthier I am, the better the process can go.’
‘I get a little emotional when I ask myself why I didn’t care about my health before this. It just wasn’t a priority, and I didn’t know how to do it right.’

Year of health: During her time off she made exercise and diet modifications which allowed her to shed the pounds
Once sharing that she was consuming up to 3,000 calories a day of basically all carbs, she credit a high-protein diet with making her feel fuller and helping her achieve her weight loss.
‘I think I was emotional eating, and overeating at times, because I wasn’t loving myself enough either. And it does come down to that self-worth and self-love,’ she told People.
And she has also credited ‘moderate walking,’ as one of the keys to her success saying it was ‘the best way for [her] to lose unnecessary body fat.’
She had previously shared that her target weight was around 165 pounds which she’s now achieved, but she said that number was just a ‘tangible thing’ to keep her motivated and her ‘goal was never to be skinny.’
