A woman who found a tampon in her boyfriend’s bedroom has been hailed a “genius” for investigating when it had been manufactured to see if he’d cheated on her.
Lois Saunders was sitting with her boyfriend when out of the corner of her eye she spotted a yellow wrapped tampon and mascara under his wardrobe which didn’t belong to her.
When she confronted him about what she’d found, he denied everything. So she took matters into her own hands.
Taking to her TikTok account @loissa4 to share her story, Lois fretted: “When you find a tampon and mascara under your boyfriend’s wardrobe and they deny everything, you have to investigate yourself.”
In the video, which has been viewed more than 4.1 million times in just 24 hours, Louis revealed that she contacted sanitary product company Tampax to find out when the tampon had been manufactured.
Luckily for Lois, an employee named Grace responded to her query and told her that the tampon was made on December 11, 2019.
This, luckily, was before she made it official with her partner.
Lois’ boyfriend theorised that the tampon must have been left behind by a previous female university student before he moved in.
Since being posted, the video has been liked 434,000 times and has received almost 5,000 comments from people who couldn’t decide if “this is genius or borderline psycho.”
One person said: “Grace at Tampax deserves a pay rise.”
Another wrote: “If he has no sister and it’s not yours and you were dating him prior to Dec 2019 then yeah homeboy is guilty.”
A third commented: “Men really don’t realise how smart we are though.”
“Tampax Grace was like ‘been there, good luck,'” added another user.
While someone commented: “If I ever get kidnapped, ask her to solve my case.”
